Fairness & Terms of Use

This package provides access to gameplay content and scripted features that must be used in adherence to the server rules and guidelines that apply at all times, including the usage of entitlements granted by store packages. It is the player's responsibility to ensure they are operating within community expectations and guidelines in respect to realistic behavior, with attention to the terms of use and constraints for fairness outlined below.

Fairness: The Helicam is a scripted feature that is available to use in the helicopter(s) made accessible with this package and provide enhancements to normal gameplay. For the purpose of gameplay balance and fairness to all players, the extent of use for certain features are limited to prevent abuse and/or negatively impact gameplay experience:

• The camera target lock functionality when targeting an NPC/AI, player, or vehicle, require you to hold the appropriate key bind for lock-on up to a few seconds before the lock is engaged — this is to prevent gameplay imbalance as instant lock-on capabilities would negatively affect the level of difficulty expected from the experience
  
  
• The camera target lock, when engaged, maintains a lock on the target entity and automatically moves the camera to the target's position — for fairness, the distance at which the lock is maintained is limited within realistic expectations as well as direct line-of-sight between the camera and the target entity
  
  
• When the locked target exceeds these thresholds, an audible warning beep plays to denote this and as such, a grace period lasting a few seconds starts to allow the camera controller to correct its requirements for maintaining a lock (e.g. a target vehicle momentarily passing through a tunnel)
  
  
• If the requirements for maintaining a target lock exceed the grace period, the camera lock is automatically disengaged to the last position and no longer follows the target — this behavior is intentional for fairness and to prevent misuse of the lock mechanic such that it does not negatively impact gameplay balance for the user or other players
  
  
• The thermal (red hot) camera mode highlights NPC/AI, players, and general heat signatures as expected from the base functionality provided in Grand Theft Auto: V — for fairness, the thermal mode will NOT display heat signatures through solid objects (e.g. buildings, overpasses, etc) and requires direct line-of-sight to entities
  
  

Terms of Use: The helicopter is an air vehicle that gives players freedom to roam the skies at any altitude, however great caution must be taken to ensure you do not abuse, misuse, and/or affect the gameplay quality of other players in the same manner that is expected from everyone. Access to air vehicles does not give you the right to misconduct — behaviors such as roaming out of your jurisdiction without reason, flying erratically, conduct unrealistic aerial manoeuvres, or other conduct that does not fall in-line with our community rules and regulations will result in immediate revocation of your gameplay entitlement to this package as well as administrative punishment against your LSPD:FRO account.

By purchasing this package, you agree to adhere to the community guidelines and terms of use as described above and acknowledge that your entitlement to the contents granted within this package may be revoked at any time by a member of the LSPD:FRO management team.
